Role Purpose
To work within the Corporate Controlling team and more widely Finance function in providing regular consolidated management reporting ensuring fit for purpose reporting, enhancements and continued quality assurance programmes for all stakeholders
MAE/MATTE and HSE Critical Responsibilities
Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and client HSEQ procedures
Areas of Responsibility
̢ۢ Manage and prepare monthly operational management reporting for group Finance ensuring adherence to accounting policies, best practice and recommended industry accounting practice
̢ۢ Ensure continual improvement and enhancement of the management reporting
̢ۢ Assist in the development of the reporting systems driving automation wherever possible
̢ۢ Support and coordinate annual budget and 3-year plan process with the business and functions
̢ۢ Support business review processes, forecasts, performance, variance and KPIs analysis
̢ۢ Responsible for maintenance and integrity of asset master data structure and transactions in management reporting systems
̢ۢ Support investment decisions initiatives where appropriate
Critical Skills, Qualifications and Experience
̢ۢ Degree qualified and with recognised accounting qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent with appropriate industry experience
̢ۢ Proven experience of management reporting and modelling within upstream oil and gas industry is essential
̢ۢ Excellent management accountant with proven track record
̢ۢ Strong analytical skills
̢ۢ Experience of SunSystems preferred
̢ۢ Strong MS Office skills
̢ۢ Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at interacting with individuals at all levels in the organisation
̢ۢ Focus on service delivery to business and functions
̢ۢ Flexible and responsive to stakeholder requirements and changing environment
̢ۢ Ability to deliver high quality work by deadlines and work effectively under time pressure
