About the Role
The key duties of an Electrical Estimator include but are not limited to:
First Principle Estimating
Evaluating bid specifications and review plans and drawings
Building relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Producing material take-offs
Quote preparation
Necessary Qualifications, Skills and Experience required for this role
To be considered for this role, you should be able to hold or demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Trade background in the electrical industry
Estimating experience with a Commercial Builder working on residential & commercial projects.
Able to demonstrate experience of working on a diverse range of projects. (retail, education, housing, apartments etc)
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong networking, negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
Ability to work autonomously.
Must be located in WA
