FPSO Topsides Manager:

SERVICE DIMENSION

• In collaboration with the FPSO Topsides Manager FPSO Manager and Project Manager, coordinate the engineering studies related to the Hull for the FPSO with the selected FPSO Contractor, prior to the contract award and then during the Contract execution phase.
• In charge of the entire design of the Hull, the living quarter and the mooring lines.
• In charge of the fabrication of the hull, the living quarter and the mooring lines.
• In charge of managing the FPSO hull team.
• Mobilize the Company Hull team.
• Bring technical assistance to the FPSO Manager on request.
• Team management of about 40 Engineers.

The objectives are :

• Assist the FPSO Package Manager in coordinating the work within FPSO Package and in organizing all activities with the contractors, meeting, dedicated review, audits, planning review, deviation management, technical clarification, etc.
• Manage the Topsides engineering activities.
• Assist the FPSO team to prepare the Contract, (lease and Operate)
• Provide an efficient support to the overall project FPSO team.
• Support actively the selection of the FPSO Contractor which will oversee the execution phase.
• Assist the FPSO Manager in preparing the Execution phase of the project.

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED

HSE:

• Demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regards to HSE,
• Implement HSE requirements within his area of responsibility.

Organization:

• Assist the FPSO manager.
• Liaise and regularly communicate with the Affiliate entities on FPSO Package Manager request,

Engineering:

• Control and review the topsides design.
• Monitor the topsides weight.
• Manage and control the schedule.

Interfaces:

• Manage interfaces with all other concerned packages (Drilling, SPS, SURF and Field Operations)

Project Management:

• Organize and participate in weekly/monthly progress meetings,
• Develop internal procedures if needed,
• Assist in follow-up, coordination and preparation of the tender documentation,
• Assist in development and follow-up of the planning for the FPSO Package,
• Organize and participate to Project Reviews including PTR,
• Anticipate problems in his field of activity and propose solutions or optimizations to the FPSO Package Manager,
• Actively participate to the tenders evaluation and RTA issuance prior to FID.
• Follow-up of any specific subject as requested by FPSO Package Manager.
• Mobilize and manage a team of 40 engineers.

Reporting & Communication:

• Ensure adequate and timely reporting of FPSO Package and to the project Manager.
• Assist the FPSO Manager with the relations with Concessionaire / Partners regarding FPSO matters and prepare and participate to Workshops & Committees with Partners and Concessionaire when required
• Ensure confidentiality of all the documentation produced

Contract Management (Call For Tender, Change Order):

• Assist the FPSO Manager with the engineering inputs required for the FPSO related Call For Tender, Clarification & evaluation process and contracts management

TIME FRAME AND LOCATION

• Starting date: 3rd January 2022
• Duration: One year
• Location : Paris until summer 2022 then Asia (country to be confirmed)

• Advanced expertise in Oil & Gas projects.
• Advanced expertise in management.
• Communication, transverse coordination, organization, ability to put issues into perspective
• Service provided in French and English in a multicultural environment
