Position Overview A leading Operator is accepting applications for the position of Health and Safety Team Lead, located in Aberdeen, reporting to the HES and Performance Audit Director. ResponsibilitiesChampion Health and Safety management across production operations, projects, wells and decommissioning.Develop a strategy and actions plan which achieves continuous improvement in occupational and process safety performance.Lead and sustain the Company's Incident Free Operations program, advancing the understanding and adoption of human factors across the organization.Build and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with both on and offshore stakeholders.Provide support to incident reporting, classification, case management, incident investigations and quality assurance, including ensuring that all Regulatory reporting requirements are met.Contribute to the maintenance of the Company Management System including the development and updating of operational procedures. Ensure maintenance and continual improvement of the Health and Safety management system and associated processes including: Managing Safe Work including ISSOW; OE Impact; Contractor HES Management (CHESM), Occupational Hygiene and Emergency Management. Provide guidance to the Company's Leadership team as a SME and ensure client is represented on industry, regulatory and trade groups as required in areas of workforce safety in order to share and adopt best practises.Verify that safe working practices are current with regard to local legislation and industry guidance.Ensure timely facilitation of Health and Safety Executive inspections and interactions to support operations teams.Manage appraisal processes, provide mentoring and coaching, ensure career development and succession planning.Manage budget, contracts and service orders for the team. QualificationsProven competency as a Supervisor and/or HES Advisor who has coached workforces on proactive safety processes and compliance with Regulations and safety requirements.
