Senior Backend Engineer

You will help build the MVP for a company that will one day be one of the world's largest companies in the space, and your work will exist and thrive decades from now.**Project samples you will be working on:** - Build a TypeScript interface along with Jupyter- Build and ship SDK for the MVP product- Set up deployments procedures on the DevOps side- Build docker containers from open-source bioinformatics projects**Tech Stack:**- Python- JavaScript with Typescript- Airflow- Jupyter- Kubernetes- AWS**Job** **Requirements:**- Must be located anywhere between UTC-8 (Alaska) - UTC-3 (Buenos Aires)- 3+ years of experience working on the backend side of technologies- Experience with managing CI/CD pipelines- Experience with Kubernetes & Docker- Working experience with AWS DevOps Management- Excellent English skills- Self-starter who identifies gaps and proactively fills them without being asked**Nice to have:**- Experience with Airflow- Experience with Elixir/OTP- Experience with Bioinformatics focused on genomics- Knowledge with Perl**Compensation:**- $100k - $120k per year + Equity**About Remotesome:**Talent is everywhere.
