Our client is currently seeking a Work Preparer to support their hook-up contractor for a new project.
Expected duration is 12-18 months.
The key purpose of this position is to be a member of the project team and support the project team with assistance related to the preparation and execution of the offshore hook-up. The tasks will typically be linked to the management and support to hook-up contractor, status reporting, check of material status, job cards and permits.
The jobholder will:
Validate the delivery of job cards, permits and plans from the hook-up contractor
Participate in relevant onboarding of contractors and offshore information sessions
Participate in managing construction contractor and hook-up contractor during execution
Day to day support during offshore execution of planned activities Check the readiness of the activities from material and tool perspective (QC), and confirm it is fit for purpose
Participate in the coordination of deployment of the tools and materials at the correct working location
Confirm the availability of the vendors and contractors
Hold the frozen schedule and anticipate in the next weeks' preparation
Liaise with the planners and updates as required
Experience required:
Min. 5 years in Oil & Gas industry
Technical educational level and preferred practical offshore experience
Able to QC technical items and specific tools
Has a hands-on mentality and a good sense of organisation
The ability to organize activities as per Client's priorities
Language Preference: fluent in Danish language (written and spoken)
