Expert legal counsel will be provided to manage the immigration process, with all costs covered.You will be employed full time to provide compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care as part of a multispecialty group that is a recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home and FQHC. Join another full time Hematologist/Oncologist and an Advance Practice Provider seeing patients in a modern, comfortable office suite within the acute care medical centers new (2018) Cancer Center, supported by dedicated Oncology Nurses, Chemotherapy Infusion Nurses and Patient Navigators.The oncology program is QOPI (Quality Oncology Practice Initiative) Certified and is actively involved with quality improvement organizations, participating in ASCO national collaborative initiatives. Last year, this practice took on over 300 new patients, and averaged 12 patient visits/day, while the infusion suite also saw 12 patients/day. Patient profile includes a large cohort of elderly patients with comorbidities. Acute patients are transferred to a higher-level facility, and return here for ongoing outpatient treatment.This is an expansion position designed to serve additional patients and communities. Come to this professionally stimulating environment, where relationships are established with Maines premier Hematology/Oncology group at the Maine Medical Center, and with researchers at the Jackson Laboratory and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. A neighboring hospital (12 miles away) offers radiation therapy and PET scanning services. An active Tumor Board comprised of hem/onc, general surgery, imaging and pathology meets regularly. You will have an almost purely outpatient practice, with rare inpatient consults during business hours. Hospitalists provide 24/7 inpatient care.
