Job Role: Human Resources Manager

A HumanResources Manager is responsible for providing first-class teammember relations services to the hotel to deliver an excellent teammember experience while assisting with Human Resources strategy andmanaging succession planning.
As a HumanResources Manager, you are responsible for providing first-classteam member relation services to the hotel to deliver an excellentteam member experience. A Human Resources Manager will also berequired to manage succession planning and assist the Cluster HRDirector with strategy. Specifically, you will be responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Provide and deliver first-class team memberrelation services to the hotel
- Assist ClusterHR Director with Human Resources strategy
- Manage succession planning with senior managers duringthe bi-annual appraisal process
- Manage teammember relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner,including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability
- Support managers to ensure success of theirteams
- Ensure recruitment and selection processis adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks arecarried out
- Support the hotel withdepartmental training requirements
- Ensurecompletion of management reports for head office andregion
- Control costs when possible and assistin meeting hotel/departmental financial targets
- Ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries aremanaged in line with company guidelines
- Ensurecompletion of training for hotel security, fire regulations andother health and safety legislation
- Work withlocal organisations and schools to promote the hospitalityindustry
- Assist and resolve team member andmanagement queries
To successfullyfill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours,skills, and values that follow:
- Previous HR managerial experience
- CIPD qualified
- Positiveattitude
- Excellent communication and peopleskills
- Committed to delivering a high level ofcustomer service, both internally and externally
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different worksituations
- Ability to work underpressure
- Ability to work on their own or inteams
