Senior Full-Stack Engineer (San Francisco / Remote)
SafeBase helps companies present up-to-date information about their security program to close enterprise deals faster.
\nAs an early hire, you will have significant responsibility and influence over our product and tech stack. You will be working closely with the founding team to deliver exciting experiences for our customers. We are looking for someone who thrives in the early stages of company building and is eager to hit the ground running from day one.
\nResponsibilities:

- Lead design and architecture for our web app, both front-end, and back-end. \n
- Write secure, reusable, testable, and efficient code, unit-test, and document implemented features. \n
- Implementation of web service APIs (REST). \n
- Implementation of security and data protection. \n
Required experience:
\n- \n
- Design and implementation of complex and scalable web applications. \n
- Experience working in an agile development team and operating a CI/CD pipeline. \n
- Entrepreneurial experience - as a founder or an early joiner in a technology startup or evidence that you are very scrappy and have an entrepreneurial mindset. \n
- Strong UI/UX design skills. \n
- Strong skills with web development languages (JavaScript, TypeScript). \n
- Experience with modern web application frameworks such as Next.js, Express.js, Redux. \n
- Good understanding of how databases work and how to use them efficiently. \n
- Experience with cloud-based applications and virtualization (Heroku, Docker, GCP, GCS) \n
- Experience with functional and higher-order programming a plus. \n
- Experience with microservices and Kubernetes a plus. \n
Preferred Experience:

- You are passionate about cybersecurity and making everyone's data safer. We help businesses design and operate an efficient security program so they can achieve their goals while protecting their customers. \n
- You have experience with vendor security assessments and compliance certifications (SOC2, ISO27001). \n
- Strong debugging skills. \n
Education requirements:
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience. \n
- 3+ years' experience in a development role in an agile development environment. \n
