Your communication needs to be crystal clear, leaving no room for assumptions. You should be willing to take feedback from real users on your design and work on improving them - if that’s what it takes for people to just get it. And you are mindful of usability principles when you’re making things.And of course, you have pretty good taste - the kind of taste that helps you separate the usual from world class.
