Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Develop new components and features for our frontend applications

Profile and improve our frontend performance

Write readable, accessible and well optimized code

Document and refactor our frontend codebase

Write, audit, and improve our test coverage

Writing A/B (experimental) tests

Working in agile team environment

Be committed to the team

Collaboration and knowledge sharing on regular basis

Write about your work and contribute back to open source

Main requirements

Extensive experience working with a Javascript framework, preferably React

In-depth understanding of Javascript, the DOM, and relevant concepts

Proficiency with browser based debugging and performance testing

Good TypeScript knowledge and experience in writing React components with TypeScript

Understanding concepts of SSR, preferably experience with Next.js

Understanding of progressive web apps

Experience with some of the A/B (experimental) testing tools

Experience with a testing framework, preferably Jest

Knowledge of writing E2E tests

Experience using Git

Fluent with English

Nice to have

Understanding of different caching strategies (browser caching, in-memory, CDN…)

Writing automation scripts to reduce repetitive work

Experience with AWS ecosystem (S3, Cloudfront, AppSync, SQS, Amplify, DynamoDB)

Understanding Serverless architecture

Experience with writing Lambda functions
