What we do: We are the second largest furniture retailer in Europe. With us you will operate highly complex ecommerce platforms across multiple european markets to drive our online presence further. You will join 100 IT colleagues hailing from more than 20 nations in our newly opened, spaceous Berlin office, which oversees our entire IT operations for all of europe.
What you will do:
·You should be keen on automating all the things, an advocate of infrastructure as code, and keep our continuous deployment pipeline running, all while keeping our infrastructure costs under control.
You will help ensure our infrastructure is secure, robust, and scales to handle our largest traffic spikes.
You evaluate new cloud-based technologies in collaboration with software development.
You conduct projects and contribute to the design of cloud-based infrastructure.
You continuously optimize the monitoring systems and further develop the build processes.
Main requirements
You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or similar training.
3+ years of experience with AWS (cloud infrastructure)
3+ years of Continuous Integration and Deployment using Jenkins
2+ years experience with Docker and Kubernetes
2+ years of Terraform
You are reliable in handling Linux server systems, especially Ubuntu as well as the shell and script languages.
Automation is your second nature, making processes more efficient and consistent
You have an independent and structured working method with high quality standards as well as a high degree of creativity, result orientation and self-initiative.
