Your role
You are part of our agile Android team on developing the Bild Android Apps
You are responsible for the conception and implementation of a modular and future-oriented app architecture
You develop creative ideas & solutions that advance our projects
Perform code reviews for each new piece of code and help your teammates implement challenging tasks
You write clean code with meaningful tests
You work with Android Studio and Gradle using various 3rd party projects like Dagger and RxJava
You use and improve our build processes with tools like Jenkins
You will work closely with other teams such as our product management or backend team using Microsoft Teams, Slack, Jira, Confluence and GitHub.
You support our departments in the conception and specification of requirements for native Android Apps, also in interaction with backend functionalities.
Main requirements
You have several years of experience in native Android development and have already released apps
You have a knowledge of the German language (min. B2 Level)
You have a degree in computer science or an equivalent education
You have a high degree of initiative and a proactive, independent and solution-oriented way of working
You have very good knowledge in Kotlin and Java
You work according to clean code principles, your code is always structured and understandable
You are creative and have a pronounced awareness of quality
You are a born team player but you can also work on your own responsibility
You are familiar with build systems and automated testing
You have strong communication skills and a passion for developing great apps
You have practical experience in agile software development with Scrum and Kanban and already worked with Git-Flow, Pull Requests and Code Reviews
