TOPIC Embedded Systems has openings for highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious technical software engineers. You will work with others on state-of-the-art projects that are executed both at our clients' sites and internally at our office. The range of products includes consumer electronics, medical systems or high-tech equipment. In addition to your technical capabilities, your communication skills are also important as you will communicate directly with our customers.
As a Software Engineer C++, C# or JAVA you'll be working in Agile teams on challenging, state of the art software development projects for different clusters such as Cure & Care or Mobility & Infrastructure. The projects are usually carried out on-site at our well known high-tech clients, spread across the Netherlands, but they can also take place at our Topic office. Within your team you'll have your own responsibilities and you will also be able to schedule your work and working days as you see fit.
Main requirements
A university or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics and/or Mathematics
You are proud of your 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience
As Software Engineer you have excellent knowledge and command of C++, O.O and Design Patterns
You have vast experience with these development platforms: Linux, Windows, VxWorks, QNX
You are experienced in development methods and techniques such as UML, Agile and SCRUM
You are a real teamplayer and have good social skills and communication skills
You feel passion and drive for your job
Your English language skills are good, both spoken and written
