Special Needs Co Ordinator - Abu Dhabi
Our client is a K to 12 private school in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Starting September 2019, a Special Needs Co Ordinator is required on a contract up to three years.
Working with fellow teachers and staff, the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school's special education policy
- Co-ordinating the provision of policies
- Communicating with parents of children with special educational needs
- Working with external agencies and service providers and any voluntary organisations.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications - minimum BA degree in Special Needs Education
Experience - minimum two years full time experience as a Special Needs Co Ordinator
Qualities - Passionate about the area of SEN learning, flexible, team player. Up to date on current SEN research and practice, sensitive to the needs in an Arabic environment
Package
A monthly tax-free salary up to 17,000AED (3850GBP/$4700USD) a month is available dependent on experience/qualifications. Furnished accommodation + utilities, annual flights, medical cover, tuition for up to two children, shipping costs and visa is also to be offered.
