Free Now is seeking a User Experience Researcher to help us develop new features and services based on deep insights from our users' behaviors and needs.
As a qualified candidate, you have to communicate results and actionable recommendations across the company. You can see the behind the user data and interpret the results in order to suggest viable solutions.
You have experience designing and conducting user research to evaluate products and services. Your research can show how your decisions had a positive impact on the product. You are interested in creating the best product on the market and you are actively running competitive analysis and interpret the value of each finding.
As a member of the Design team, you'll work in close partnership with designers, product owners, developers, and marketing/brand strategists to validate new concepts and improve existing products in order to improve the current user experience.
Your role:
Design and conduct user research to evaluate new and current products.
Define the research objectives and create relevant proposals and plans
Run on regular basis competitive research and analysis and identify new opportunities for our product.
Conduct user/usability testing (remote and on site), ethnographic/field research, surveys and guerrilla research.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate useful insights, as well as recommendations for improvements.
Present the insights to stakeholders to inform business decisions.
Develop personas and showcase user journeys.
Visual communication, information design, and wireframing skills
Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and developers.
Adapt and innovate research practices to meet team needs.
Main requirements
3+ years of relevant UX work experience on mobile and web products.
Demonstrable ability to plan and conduct research in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to clearly communicate research findings.
Strong experience with qualitative methods (interviews, usability studies).
Basic understanding of quantitative methods, behavioral analysis
Strong listening, analytical, and organizational skills that allow you to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience preparing and making formal presentations / reviews
Visual design is a plus, but not mandatory
