Maths on the Move involves active learning in a gym or sports hall and is designed for primary school children to enhance their Maths & English skills outside a traditional classroom. This variation for Chinese primary school children seeks to improve capability in Maths and in English comprehension being taught in English.
We are looking for a tutor to help pilot the programme in Shanghi, China mobilising toward the end of August and to start work in September for a one year assignment. There is also an opportunity to join a short trip rehersal in Tokyo [Japan] in the last week in August at the 2020 Olympic Village.
We think this role would suit someone who has recently completed a PGCE teaching course, either in Primary Education, or Secondary in PE or Maths or English, and who has an active lifestyle.
Interviews will be held in Cambridge and include an induction into the programme. Assistance will be given with visa & work permit with a view to mobilise on w/c 26th August.
Tutors will be accomadated in a high quality apartment in Shanghi. Flight ticket will be paid by the company.
