Our client is a leading K to 12 international school of 750 pupils in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The school caters for a mix of expat and local children from middle and upper class families and is viewed as one of the leading institutions in the country on all measures.
Due to the current post holder's contract coming to an end, a Head of Whole School Physical Education and Health is required to start in January 2020.
You will be responsible for development, management and promotion of Physical Education and Health across the Whole School. Your prime responsibility is the development of practices to ensure continuity of teaching, assessment and monitoring across all year groups. You will oversee the delivery of extra curricular and competition sports, ensuring a wide range of high quality programs/tournaments are available for students. A small load teaching Physical Education is also required in this position.
You will work as a subject specific expert on the curriculum leadership team of the Middle and Senior school. You will also be responsible for making recommendations to the Principal regarding resources and budget.
The Principal is looking to appoint by early August where a minimum two year contract is to be made available. An annual salary (up to $75KUSD/60KGBP relevant to your qualifications and experience is to be offered. Accommodation, flights, medical cover, relocation allowance, tuition fees for children and work visa is also included.
