About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for Assistant Manager to join the Finance department in Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Analysing monthly Profit & Loss Statement.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and does not have any unauthorised postings.
- Assisting Finance Manager/DOF in preparing the monthly Forecast, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports.
- Post all the journals required to allocate the expenses to correct cost centres as part of month end process.
- Post all Intercompany charges and balance the Intercompany accounts at month end.
- Accrue all the expenses incurred in the month but not booked.
- Prepare and update the results (quarterly basis) for the Finance Key Indicator Performance.
- Update the monthly actual figures in Hyperion and Financial Management System.
- Review and consolidated the results for the colleagues quarterly bonus.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Accounting Degree or certificate in BAHA/CIMA.
- Previous Accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel Skills, Well Versed with Sun Financials.
- Ability to forecast Business Performance.
