Bandora is an engineer company which is aware of climatic changes related with the way the humans are using the sources of energy. The main objective of Bandora is helps other companies to improve energy consumption and the maintenance of the systems that are installed inside of buildings. For this purpose, Bandora has a Data Science Department that use AI to solve real problems with the objective to save energy consumption. Due to the fast growing of the company along with the relevant institutions in USA, Bandora is searching for people that can incorporate the culture of the company and helps to improve energy efficient of the world.

We are looking for a Data Scientist with a background in Machine Learning and able to support of large scale data and analytics for our clients.  For this purpose, you will work in a team and participate in all stages of the project from extracting data until do suitable dashboards.

Main requirements

·     MSc or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioengineering or related areas;

·     Proven academic or professional experience in the field;

·     Practical knowledge with Python, R;

·     Knowledge of the basic Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning algorithms: decision trees, ensemble methods, SVM, MLR forecasting, ARIMA model, Logistic Regression, K-NN, ANN, k-Means;

·     Experience in working with VCS like Git or Bitbucket;

·     Able to write technical reports for projects and/or internal collateral for training or internal assets;

·     Capacity to do explain complex ideas in a simple way during the presentation to the business;

·     Understand the value of a story telling using data visualization tools (e.g. R Shiny, D3js, Plot.ly, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik View);

·     High standards for software quality and experimental design;

·     Fluent in English (most of our clients are abroad) and with excellent communication skills;

Nice to have

·     It is valued have knowledge about energy systems, time series and anomaly detection;

·     Experience with Spark, Scala, Keras, Tensor Flow is a plus;

·     Knowledge about Relational Data Base and NoSQL is a plus;

·     Experience with Atlassian platform (example: JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
