At Holaluz we are looking for a Java Engineer to help us evolve our ERP. The ERP is a very important part of Holaluz as critical processes are managed from there, such as the ATR (light commercialization switching process), billing or all accounting and finance processes. If you are looking for a large project to develop and grow as a professional we are looking for you.
At the technology level, we develop with Java8 and SQL Server as a database and we have all our infrastructure in AWS. We use several Amazon Web Services products from the ERP like S3, SQS, etc. and we have automated the Windows Server 2012 infrastructure where the ERP runs with tools like Powershell, Ansible, Packer and Terraform. We are not going to lie to you, there is a lot of work to do and a lot of code to fix / improve / optimize, but we want to make a leap in quality with engineers hungry and wanting to do things right.
As a Java Engineer you will:
Manage queue systems with SQS
Work with AWS, all our infrastructure is in code with version control. We will help you have the infrastructure resources that your team needs at each moment
Configuring servers with Ansible - Automation of AWS with Packer and Terraform
Aggregation of logs in ELK - Monitoring / alerting using technologies such as Cloudwatch, InfluxDB, Grafana or Telegraf
Main requirements
Experience in Java 8
Experience in SQL databases (SQL Server ideally)
Nice to have
Modern development methodologies (Testing, Pair Programming, Extreme Programming, BDD)
Hexagonal Architecture and DDD
Interest in DevOps culture where development and systems work together to improve the stack
Interest in learning system automation and AWS
Experience with ERP EKON
