An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced Physics teacher to start the new academic year in this all girls' school in Abu Dhabi, UAE for September 2019.
The majority of the role will see you teach Physics in the senior school with the rest of the load consisting of General Science classes in the middle school. You teach predominately Emirati pupils from middle/upper socio families where a three-year contract is to be offered. The school offers the IB and US curriculum.
Selection Criteria
Experience - minimum two years full time experience post qualification
Qualifications - minimum Bachelor degree in Physics, Science or related + Teaching Diploma or B.Ed. Physics, Science or related
Language - with the curriculum delivered in English the school have requested applicants to be native or first language speakers of English
Qualities - experience to an enquiry based curriculum is preferred. A candidate sensitive to work in an Arabic/ESL environment is an advantage. A team player who involves themselves in the whole school community is keenly sort after. Ability to relocate to start by 20 August for orientation is required.
Package
In return, you will take home a monthly tax-free salary up to 15000AED a month (3200GBP/$4100USD). Package also includes furnished accommodation, annual flights, end of contract gratuity, IB training, staff transport to/from work, medical cover + visa. Tuition also offered for up to 2 children.
