Head of Secondary Girls' School - Abu Dhabi City
Our client is a private all girls' school in Abu Dhabi City. A school in operation for over twelve years, this large school caters predominately for Emirati girls from grades 6 to 12.
The role will see you start in mid August 2019 in preparation for the new academic year commencing September 2019 on a contract of three years negotiable on review.
As Head of the Secondary Girls' School you will provide leadership, direction and oversight to the Board approved school instructional and support programs. This includes;
* Direct supervision of instructional and support administrative and teaching staff
* Student management and supervision
* Facilities operations and
* Fiscal oversight of the budget.
As Head you are responsible for the day to day operations of the Girls' Secondary School.
Criteria
Experience: Minimum of three years of successful experience as an Assistant or Deputy Principal, or Head or Deputy Principal of Secondary School. Minimum of three years as a teacher.
Education/Certifications: Minimum of a Masters Education in Management/Leadership or similar. Further training in leadership areas of instructional supervision and evaluation; organisation strategic or operational planning; organisational development and facilitation, personnel selection, recruitment, retention and dismissal and student assessment is also well sort after.
Hold a current license or certification from a governmental agency as a Principal or Senior Educational leader
Package
An attractive annual tax free salary is to be discussed with the successful applicant (up to $90KUSD/72KGBP). Also included is furnished accommodation/allowance, annual flights, medical cover, relocation allowance, end of contract gratuity (21 days per year of service), tuition for up to two children and visa costs.
