About the Role

Exterity is delighted to have opened our new Software Development Centre in Porto and we are now looking to add to this team and recruit a Graduate Software Engineer.

Exterity is firmly established as the global leader in enterprise IP video technology. We are a truly global company with a number of other offices around the world and we are a highly recognised leader in the IPTV & Digital signage market.

Innovation is at the heart of our development as we develop software spanning from handling high bitrate, encrypted, UHD satellite streams to custom user experiences on the latest smart TVs for our international client base.

Main requirements

About You

You will have achieved a technical degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics or a related discipline.

You will work on:

·         Enhancing new and existing Signage and Video products for the enterprise market

·         Code JavaScript or JavaScript based libs on a daily basis

Skills

You will have knowledge of or have experience working with:

·         Agile methodologies, attending scrums, tracking your progress

·         Experience in using JavaScript including ES6

·         Experience with Angular/AngularJS or React

·         Node.js

·         Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have

Also you might have knowledge on:

·         Postgresql or mongodb

·         Php

·         CentOS or similar linux distributions

·         Rick and Morty

·         Jira

·         Zephyr

·         Git

·         C/C++
