ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our client is a Portuguese luxury clothing retail company headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal with over 100 stores across the world, represented in 13 countries

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The candidate will work with software that runs across the globe that manages sales, stock, prices, catalogues, promotions and much more for our client. The client is working on tha fashion area and his a top brand in Portugal and the Middle East.

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team at our client's office in Talaíde near Lagoas Park - Oeiras.

You will work on an internacional e-commerce proj ect, having responsibilities such as:

·       The integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers

·       Building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules

·       Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges

·       The integration of data storage solutions

Main requirements

·       Solid foundation in object oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and multimedia

·       Minimum 3 years of experience with PHP web frameworks

·       Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP

·       Understanding of MVC design patterns

·       Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

·       Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming

·       Understanding accessibility and security compliance

·       Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions

·       Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

·       User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

·       Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

·       Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds

·       Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

·       Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages

Nice to have

·      Master in Computer Science or Electrotechnical Engineering

·      Good knowledge of GIT and git-flow
