At Therapy Management Corporation (TMC), we are preparing to launch our enhanced proprietary software suite that serves the healthcare industry.
We are in search of a talented a QA Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Authoring test Plan and test cases that map to requirements and capture detailed expected results.
- Conducting structured functional testing, documenting results and verifying bug fixes
- Conducting integration testing with 3rd party applications
- Managing defects and producing timely reports
- Conducting test strategy and test plan reviews with development team and business stakeholders
- Leading efforts to identify test cases for building meaningful Smoke Test plan
- Leading efforts to identify test cases for building targeted regression test plans
- Working closely with the development team to verify recently completed tickets and reject work that does not satisfy requirements
- Triage incoming issues, work with stakeholders to correctly categorize and prioritize reported defects
Requirements
Ideal candidate will exhibit the following:
- Solid experience writing detailed test documents (Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Case)
- Self-starter that can drive the QA process forward with minimal management oversight
- Experience managing traceability matrix throughout the product development life cycle
- Experience working as QA Engineer on Agile teams
- Deep understanding of Quality Engineering best practices with emphasis in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Integration Testing
- Experience querying databases (SQL, MongoDb) for testing backend processes and validating ETL transactions
- Proven experience testing APIs (both REST and SOAP protocols)
- Strong analytical skills to interpret test results, identify and report gap, and provide recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Have
- Certification in ASTQB, or ASQ would be a strong merit
- Experience testing and creating tests for Angular 2+ applications
- Experience with Azure DevOps and .NET Core
