Chess.com is looking for someone who is passionate in building & managing cloud infrastructure. We're blending our datacenter hosting with AWS for microservices and scaling, and need your help to make sure that we're always up, stable and performant. QUALIFICATIONS 

- Mastery of AWS setup and control over console, CLI, and API; Google cloud a plus 

- Particular experience with Cloud Formation or Terraform (Infrastructure as a Code) 

- You love to write your own software to automate API-driven tasks at scale (preferably in Python, but Go, Java or Ruby are welcome too) 

WHAT ELSE? 

- Experience with server application monitoring & visualization (Statsd, Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, etc) 

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL storages (e.g. Mysql, DynamoDB) 

- Experience with message logs (e.g. Kafka, Kinesis, Redis) 

- Detailed understanding of HTTP and related technologies
