As a Wordpress developer at BuildWitt, you'll be the architect on websites for some of the biggest companies in our space. We replace dismal websites built years ago with industry-leading sites designed to recognize people for their hard work and attract new people to the blue-collar world.
Responsibilities:
- Build the best websites in construction and mining
- Work with our talented designers to turn their concepts into reality
- Write beautiful clean code including custom plugins and themes
- Ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Provide clients with an easy environment to update their content
- Maintain client sites optimizing for UX, speed, and performance
- Work remotely with flexible hours - North America time zones preferred
- Meet deadlines consistently
Qualifications
- Have 5+ years of Wordpress development experience
- HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and jQuery
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Good communicator, fluent in English
- Fun personality that enjoys working with others
- Bonus points if you love dirt and construction!
