Project Manager Remote USA

We are looking for a talented project manager to help produce the best content on the internet.

We write about startups and the tech world for top SaaS companies. The project manager will help us consistently deliver high-quality content to these customers.
They will be responsible for:
  • Building out internal workflows to optimize our production pipeline
  • Delivering, publishing, and distributing content on time for dozens of customers
  • Working with the team internally and customers externally to develop the most effective content strategies
You don't have to be an expert in SaaS, but you should want to understand these companies and their customers. It will be your mission to help them succeed. This means that daily you will be:
  • working with writers to move articles along the pipeline and maintain momentum
  • working with managers to develop a consistent publishing cadence for each customer
  • working with customers to find bottlenecks in the publishing process and solving these problems
You should be:
  • Highly organized. You will have to manage separate processes for multiple customers publishing dozens of articles each month.
  • An effective communicator. You will talk with customers to determine the right publishing strategy and schedule for them. You will then have to communicate this to the team, and be responsible for making sure they stick to it.
  • A critical thinker. You should always be looking for ways to optimize the pipeline and get customers more high-quality content.
You should have either previous project management experience or experience managing a content marketing pipeline. We use Airtable extensively for our production pipeline, so knowledge and experience with this tool is a plus.

You will be the first project manager at Animalz and will help define the role, so a growth mindset is a must.

To apply, please send us an email with [project manager] in the subject.
In your email, please include:
