St. John’s
University is inviting applications for merit-based scholarships. These
scholarships are awarded to full-time undergraduate students who enrol in a
bachelor’s level degree program for the Fall 2018 term.
St. John’s
University is a private, Roman Catholic, research university located in New
York City, United States. Founded by the Congregation of the Mission (C.M., the
Vincentian Fathers) in 1870, the school was originally located in the
neighbourhood of Bedford–Stuyvesant in the borough of Brooklyn.
Applicants
whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of
proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Requirement: For the fall 2016 applicants who submitted their SAT or ACT test
scores, the average SAT score for the entering freshman class was 1156 out of
1600 (Math and Critical Reading), and the mean composite ACT score was 25. The
average GPA is a 90 or 3.5 on the 4.0 scale.
